The Marketing department is responsible for the production of newsletter, leaflets and posters to advertise any events and happening taking place in the Lea Brook Valley. Its aim is to get the Lea Brook Valley message across to the local residents and to encourage people to get involved.

The Lea Brook Valley has close links with Dronfield Eye and other magazines to publish articles relating to events taking place to keep people up to date with the Lea Brook Valley.

Tom is our Communications officer at the Lea Brook Valley, he is responsible for keeping the green team and trustees up to date with activities happening in the Lea Brook Valley and distributing relevant and important information regarding training days and events for the volunteers to get involved in to develop their knowledge.

• Tom Walker

Tom is currently at the Sheffield College studying for a Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Applied Science, he is due to leave us in August 2019 to study an integrated masters in Biomedical science at the university of Lincoln. He has a passion for helping people and came to the Lea Brook Valley to gain experience and skills and to also volunteer his time for the natural world that he likes to conserve and maintain. Tom is also involved with theatre performing with Manor Operatic Society and has been involved with shows and pantos since 2016. He has been involved with Singin' in the Rain (2017) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2018). As a young person, he has vast knowledge with social media and the internet, he became manager of marketing to develop the communications internally and within the local community and surrounding areas.
